1) There will be no illegal drugs taken before or during any investigation. Prescription meds may be taken, however, we must be made aware of any drugs that may impair your ability
to SAFELY carry out an investigation or may impair your ability to drive or think clearly, if we think there could be a problem you may be asked to leave the
investigation. Understanding that some prescription meds can impare you as much if not worse that some illegal drugs, I support the "when in doubt sit it out policy", in other words if
your not sure if your impared your best to sit it out, there will be other investigations!!
2) By coming along on any investigation, you are acknowledging that you, and not the group in any way shape or form, are responsible for your own safety and well being, and
that we are not responsible for any accident or injury physical, mental, or any other that may occur during an investigation. All investigators investigate at there own risk!!
3) The use of ouija boards, or any other similar device or activity (such as the "white noise" method of attempting to contact spirits) is STRICTLY PROHIBITED AND
ENFORCED!!! The use of such items will be grounds for dismissal from the group. When you openly invite something into your home or others homes, you can never be sure
whats going to enter the location.
4) All locations being investigated will be kept strictly between group members and will not be given to anyone not a current member of our group. If it is a joint investigation (as
several of them will be) then it will be kept between the investigating groups. If there is some question about this rule, ask before you speak to someone not inside the group.
Violation of this rule will result in immediate dissmisal from the group.
5) Any speaking to the press, or any other publication about ANY investigation-past, present, or future, will be the sole responsibility of the group owner. In cases where we are doing
a joint investigation, this will fall upon the owner of the group who set up and is hosting the investigation, unless someone else is told to do so by the owner of the hosting group
before hand.
6) There will be no airing of "dirty laundry" or of problems that you may have with others in this group, or others, during any investigations. If you have a problem with someone or the
way something is being done contact that person directly. If you cant get it resolved, email me and I will step in and try and resolve the situation.
7) There will be group meetings as time and weather allows. We will try and do this every month, but we do realize that during the summer time we are all VERY busy, and as such.
meetings are not mandatory, and will be not be held during the summer months unless there is a special situation. However, we would like to see all of you from time to time. If we
don't see you at a meeting or investigation for a period of time-such as a month or so, you may be dismissed from the group. However as with anything if you email me and there has been an illness or some other
type of problem, exceptions will be made, however if problems begin so seem excessive such as being sick for every investigation or meeting, then you may be dismissed until your health improves.
8) There will be no bashing of anyone elses beliefs or ideas weather it be personal or religious, remember, we all have feelings.
9) This is more than just a group, we think of each other as family, and as such, we expect everyone to treat each other with the respect and love that you would extend a close friend
or family member.
10) We also expect to treat anywhere we go to investigate as if it was your or a relatives home, business, or grave site. A good rule that I follow is to ask myself how would I feel if
someone came into my own home, and how would I want them to conduct themselves. When we go to a location-we will take only pictures, video or audio recordings, and we
will leave only footprints behind.
11) While I will allow members to make offers to sell certain things-such as avon, or fund raising supplies or other things like that. Any member who offers a "paranormal" or "occult"
service in which they either have an interest or own, or in which a member is the person performing, including palm readings, psychic parties, or other things that I deem to be of
that nature in the group, and does so for a fee will be in violation of this policy and will be warned the first time and banned the second. The exception is if the service is offered
totally free of charge. We do not endorse the practice of charging for these types of services in this group and ask that members report any such activity to myself or one of the
moderators.
EXCEPTION- Investigations which require a fee and/or travel expenses. These types of things will always be allowed as long as it is with groups with which we are associated.
12) If you are in a bad mood, have something bothering you, or are angry or upset about something, please, please, please, dont come out on an investigation. Your bad feelings will
attract spirits that are full of negative energy, and scare off spirits that may have something to say. These negative spirits also could potentially cause harm to others, so if your in a
foul mood, take the night off.
13) EVP's-EVP's are very interesting however, they should be handled carefully. There will be no playing of EVP's in a clients home. If an EVP is played in a clients home that is
haunted-there is a risk of angering what is already there, or possibly stirring up some spirits that were there but were dormant. This isnt scientific fact or anything, but based on my
and several other investigators personal observations. Spirits are not hams that want to hear there own voices-it makes them angry.
14) Positions within the group--As there are several positions within the group-such as group moderator, lead investigator(s) and others that may be created now or at a later date as group
size and growth dictates, I have found a need to make a rule about positions in the group. These positions will be filled by ACTIVE investigators. This does not mean you are
required to come to every investigation, however, if you wish to hold one of these positions you must attend at least one home investigation per month or as time allows at least
every other home or bizz. investigation as well as the monthly meeting. While some consideration will be given for those who attend trips to cemetarys and other venues, the home
investigations and monthly meetings are the ones that count. Should you choose not to attend investigations you will be reduced to a regular member. Those who are in place at this time
shall remain in place unless the required attendance is not met at which time they may or may not be removed. all decisions on this are at my discretion and will be final.
15) All new members memberships shall be subject to there relative location to the group and there willingness to learn to investigate. New members will be required to attend at least 90
percent of meetings and at least 80 percent of the investigations as space allows. If there is a problem as to why someone cannot attend, the owner/operator has the right if he or she so wishs,
to temporarily wave the requirements this will especially be true in cases of medical problems, illness, or death. All new incoming members shall be required to fill out a membership packet
including a question sheet, and also will fill out the identification sheet completly. Any blank spaces will be cause for non admission to the group. Also a copy of a drivers license will be
emailed along. If any of these requirements are not met, or the owner of the group feels that someone may not be able to fufill the obligations of being a member the owner/operator of the
group reserves the right to refuse membership. We also may refuse membership for any reason at anytime without providing any type of notice.
16) We are all adults, and as such I don't think I need to bore everyone with a bunch of rules, but I may create more as situations arise and we see a need for them. Most of these are
just common sense. Thanks for your attention and interest in our group
