Hello Everyone,
I have been asked 3 main questions and I will answer them here right now the 1st is---why we dont have a list up of haunted area locations-well its not for lack of being to some of them-the Rialto, the congress hotel in chicago, pilsen neighborhood, aux sable-we have been to quite a few of them. Heres the thing-in general people get sort of agitated when you make contact with them and tell them they were on so and so's list of locally haunted places. Some will ask how to get there names off as they have no activity. Some will just want off the list. Then theres the cemetary list-I sure am not gonna be the one to guide people who like to destroy and deface some of these very old locations, so when we find one, and there are many-we may do a report of what we have found but we sure arent going to list where to find it and in some cases we just may say nothing about it at all.
2nd) Why doesnt your group have a "ghost hunters" store. Well, we arent in this to try and grab a few bucks out of people. We dont sell any of the stuff we use nor do we have t-shirts or hats-although at some point we may get them but they are going to be mainly for investigators and a select few close to the group. If you would like to know what tools we use-just drop us a line and we will tell you what we use and why and how we use them that seems to work best for us. We do have a variety of tools so if you have a question please ask away.
3rd) I heard your group doesnt like the term "ghost hunter" or "investigator"---Thats very true-this group doesnt feel as though we are "hunting" for ghosts! In fact if you do a bit of reading on almost any religion, most believe that spirits are around us more often than not. As far as investigator-we are not putting a crime scene together nor are we investigating-in as much as we are researching-we research the location, the people in the home anything at all we can find out about the surrounding area. When we do EVPs we are researching that as well trying to gain information as to the spirits that are there and attempt to find out why they are there. Sometimes though you may hear us or others say investigation here or there-that is simply for lack of a better word. We cant say were going on a road trip to here or there right?? It doesnt sound professional.

SOME GROUPS NOT BEING CAREFUL WHILE TRAINING NEW MEMBERS!
Hello Everyone,
I have recently seen a post about how some other groups, not just in our area, but in several other areas as well, are bringing new and curious members who have little or no experience to VERY active places. Please people be very careful when you go to very active locations. Our group does a prayer of protection before we go into any location, and I would suggest everyone do the same. Doesn't matter what religion you are as long as you pray for protection and safety. The same with tour groups-it is extremely dangerous to have people trampling through any graveyard unprotected, as these people are going along and probably have no idea that something may follow them home from the cemetery. Yes that is correct follow you home!! Its not unusual for spirits to follow people home from places that are haunted especially if someone challenges the spirits or says they don't believe in them, or if someone inevitably says that they wouldn't mind having a ghost in there home!! Not a good idea people! Also, NEVER NEVER NEVER take anything from a haunted location, and I mean ANYTHING as the spirit of the person who owned that property may be attached to it, or, something thats not so nice may be attached to it and when you get it home all hell will break loose (oh yeah and its also called stealing)! If you want a remembrance take some pictures or video tape, but don't take anything at all from a location. Please people if you go on a tour or are a new investigator say a prayer for protection before you enter ANY haunted locations. And group owner please remind members to protect themselves, and also when training someone new, don't bring them to the most active location you can find, as im sure the goal isn't to scare a new member away. Start them off at a not so haunted location and once they have learned a lot about investigating then ask them if they think there ready. Well take care and be safe-Rob

We are proud to announce the launch of our sister group-Sight Paranormal Southern District. They will uphold the same strict guidelines and protocols as we do, and if they take off as quickly as we have, I'm sure they will have there hands full soon. They are based in Cahokia Illinois, and will cover the southern illinois area. Thanks guys and welcome to the group.
